SV	Gedenk aan de dagen van ouds; merk op de jaren van elk geslacht; vraag uw vader, die zal het u bekend maken, uw ouden, en zij zullen het u zeggen.

Trans.	zəḵōr yəmwōṯ ‘wōlām bînû šənwōṯ dwōr-wāḏwōr šə’al ’āḇîḵā wəyagēḏəḵā zəqēneyḵā wəyō’mərû lāḵə:

AC	ז זכר ימות עולם בינו שנות דר ודר {ס} שאל אביך ויגדך זקניך ויאמרו לך {ר}
ASV	Remember the days of old, Consider the years of many generations: Ask thy father, and he will show thee; Thine elders, and they will tell thee.
BE	Keep in mind the days of the past, give thought to the years of generations gone by: go to your father and he will make it clear to you, to the old men and they will give you the story.
